Books I'm Currently Reading - [Video]
These are a few of the titles that I’m reading via Kindle. I also read physical books, science papers and listen to audiobooks. This probably takes the majority of my daily cognitive focus (around 6-8 hours).
If you have interesting titles, tell me about them!
On another note, I’m very excited to be working on a new feature for AlterAI. It came as a random thought as I was watching a video of someone complaining about an AI-related product.
The only thing I will tell is that you will be able to interact with AlterAI more flexibly instead of using templates.
Oh yes, and in terms of GPT3 dominance, there is good news.
The amazing folks at EleutherAI and collaborators have published GPT-J-6B, a pretrained transformer that should be on par with performance with GPT3 Curie engine (which is the second most powerful, the first one being DaVinci).
Most importantly, GPT-J-6B is trained on the high-quality PILE dataset which is far better than the data GPT3 has been trained on. Plus, the data is the PILE is late 2020, while the data GPT3 has been trained on is 2019.
I’m super thrilled about where this is leading to because if OpenAI isn’t going to step up their game and improve GPT3 and the training data, competitors like EleutherAI and others are fastly catching up.
What’s best is that we, as consumers, creators, and entrepreneurs have only stuff to gain from this competition. Long live free markets!
I made a video comparison on GPT-J-6B versus GPT3 here.
P.S.: If you want to win credits to spend on AlterAI, for your business, creative, and personal use, send me a message.
Cheers, Cristi
I don’t mind if you tell your friends! And for more…
